Problem Statement: A typical set of handheld garden tools are uncomfortable, nondurable, and clunky.

 

Currently, there are no products in the market that solve all of these issues collectively. Thus, amateur gardeners, especially those with physical limitations, who live in small spaces are incapable of properly tending to their household gardens.

 

Opportunity Statement: We see an opportunity to design a product that is compact, multifunctional, ergonomic and easy to use for most consumers.

• Strong uptick in gardening due to stay-at-home order

• People are trying new hobbies or are wanting to cook their own foods.

​

• More than half (55%) of American adults are currently gardening or caring for their lawn 

​

• Two thirds (67%) of adults in the US are growing or plan to grow edible plants.

• Gardening tool market size is expected to grow to $102.3 billion by 2025
